Be active in the dance community. Our scene is struggling right now but by taking a few easy steps to keep in touch with your local representatives you can make a difference. We can all complain about the current state of the scene but if we don't take any action our voices will never be heard.

Download these templates and use them as a guide to create your own letter and send it to your local government representatives. These letters don't pertain to the scene but will give you an idea of the tone and structure you should use. Print these letters out, choose your words carefully, sign them and mail them. Be polite and calm so you are taken seriously. If you use slanderous words or sound hostile you will do nothing but cause more harm to yourself and the rest of us in the community. So please, take the time to do this. We need your help to make our voices heard.
